Object Description
Star sapphire and diamond ring by J. Milhening Inc., Chicago, American, circa 1935. A platinum and iridium ring set with one central oval cabochon star sapphire in a rubover collet setting with an approximate weight of 12.00 carats, set on one side with five rectangular baguette cut diamonds in rubover collet settings with an approximate total weight of 0.20 carats, also bordered with ten round old cut diamonds in bead settings with an approximate total weight of 0.35 carats, flanked by raised shoulders, on a square shank, and with an approximate combined diamond weight of 0.55 carats.
