Object Description
Jabel old cut diamond three stone ring. Set centrally with a round old cut diamond in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 1.46 carats, flanked further with two round old cut diamonds in open back claw settings with a combined weight of 1.67 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 3.13 carats to a striking three stone design featuring curving claws, an intricately pierced linear gallery and circular open backholing, flanked by slightly trumpeting shoulders which flow through to a solid flat shank. Signed ‘Jabel’, American, tested platinum and iridium, circa 1920.
