Object Description
A very elegant Swiss desk clock by Jaeger leCoultre with a visible in-line “baguette” movement.
The eight day movement is Swiss, with 15 jewels, and is weekly wound with the inbuilt fold-flat key.
The movement and brass digits are discreetly screwed to the back plate of slightly smoky lucite, and appear to be floating. To the front is clear mineral glass.
The slimline brushed and polished brass case stands on small feet, with the number 355 stamped into a leg on the base.
This model was produced by Jaeger leCoultre over several decades from the 1950s onwards. We believe this one to date from 1973.
