Object Description

John Pollard Seddon (1827-1906), a pair of Gothic Revival oak dining chairs.

This dark leather upholstered pair of dining chairs were made en suite with the very rare and important Gothic Revival armchair by J P Seddon for The Great Exhibition of 1851, carved in oak, embossed leather and caned.
