A very large antique English carved Portland stone armorial crest dating from the late 19th century, salvaged from the facade of a City of London building.
Measuring almost 2m high, this antique stone heraldic crest is a spectacular find. Handcrafted, it depicts a huge coat of arms carved in relief, the shield bearing swords, galleons and a helmet, below a further helmet and an eagle rising with wings back and inverted.
The sheer scale and subject quality of this antique coat of arms will make a superb feature of a garden or exterior facade, bringing English grandeur and provenance to any property.
