Object Description
Very large oak bookcase made of good faded oak with mudullary rays. The top has large bookshelves which are totally adjustable and the base has large lockable cupboard doors with shelves inside. There are drawers hidden all the way along the frieze, they are so close fitting that they do not look like drawers until they are opened. The detail is so fine that the moulding of the drawer is mitred to hide the joint when the drawer is closed. This is a magnificent bookcase that really has to be seen to be fully appreciated.
