Large Egyptian Hardstone Scarab

Object Description

An Egyptian scarab amulet carved from a brown and white polish stone. The anatomical features have been naturally rendered including the head, clypeus, along with disecting linear striations and ridge to form the elytra and prothorax. The sides have been carefully carved to depict the scarabs legs and the underside has been left unadorned.

Excellent condition, very minor signs of wear consistent with age.
