Object Description
A large late 19th century Italian highly decorative superbly carved giltwood cushion mirror, probably Florentine.
This mirror consists of a cresting to the top, superbly carved with floral and scrolling foliate decoration.
This leads down to a deep, superbly carved giltwood cushion frame decorated with scrolling foliate and gadrooned decoration.
The back has been replaced due to some missing boards.
The mirror has original bevelled glass in all sections and both the frame and glass are in very good condition for age, are all of stable construction and can go straight into a home.
