Object Description
Circa 1890. Large late Victorian Chinese Chippendale-style mahogany breakfront desk. The top with a new git-tooled, green leather writing surface and foliate carved edges over one long and two short frieze drawers with solid mahogany drawer linings and cast brass swan handles above two shorter drawers flanked by fluted columns. With polished sides and back and supported on cabriole legs with acanthus carved leaves and brass and claw feet.
