Object Description
A large Louis XV style 16-light crystal-cut chandelier decorated overall in scalloped Baccarat pendalogues with stellar jewels and impressive differently sized moulded baluster pinnacles. The open pear-shaped frame supports two tiers, six scrolling candle arms alternate with arms supporting baluster pinnacles with an inside light emitting a lustrous shine. Additional lights are fitted inside baluster pinnacles on the upper part of the frame. Of extraordinary size is the central pinnacle, 12 inches high, fitted with an insight light and part of a massive baluster. The chandelier terminates in a spherical finial ball.
The high quality frame and the imposing use of crystals, in particular the combination of electric lights inside the pinnacles, gives this chandelier its exclusive appearance. The height can be adjusted with a 3.4 feet long massive chain.
