Object Description
A Fine quality French 19th century gilded ormolu and white marble mantel clock in the Louis XVI style. Having a two handled urn to the top with flowers and garlands draping down to two semi nude classical female figures either side of the white enamel clock, with an eight day duration, chiming movement, set on an ormolu fluted pedestal, with an inset plaque depicting cherubs with a globe, telescope and maps. Raised on a stepped ormolu and white marble base with motif decoration and turned tapering fluted feet.
