Large Menton Majolica Lemons & Olives Wall Plaque

Object Description

Menton Majolica wall charger which features lemons, leaves , flowers and olives. Colouration: turquoise, green, ochre, are predominant. The piece bears maker’s marks for the Menton pottery.

Object Condition

Good. KILN EFFECTS: craze line to the rim; a few specks of kiln detritus caught in the glaze to the ground. RESTORATION. Retouched chips to petals (not rebuilt).
