Object Description
This large pair of George III silver shoe buckles were made in London C1790 by John Essex and measure 3 inches across by 2 3/8 inches wide, they have a reeded pattern and are hallmarked on either side of each buckle with the monarchs head, lion passant and makers marks, the steel fastenings are in good order and they are in very condition.
