Object Description
Large size “Country House” early 19th century Regency brass inlaid, simulated rosewood scroll end settee or sofa. The woodwork is all in first class original condition with no damage and no repairs. The brass inlay is also all perfect. The sofa stands on elegant turned legs with original brass cup castors. The piece has been nicely upholstered and apart from a minor clean is in perfectly good order. As well as the two original round “sausage” cushions there are also 4 other, probably later small throw cushions. The main seat cushion is feather stuffed.
All the finish is totally original and it has not been touched up.
