A superb quality English Regency – George IV period, highly carved rosewood hearth stool or ottoman of large proportions, in the style of Gillows of Lancaster,
Circa 1825.
Of rectangular form, having a traditionally upholstered padded drop-in seat over the egg-and-dart and lotus carved frieze, raised on four turned and reeded bun feet on period castors.
