Large Sevres style porcelain clock set, 19th Century.

Object Description

A very impressive 19th Century French Serves style porcelain and gilded ormolu clock garniture. Having Turquoise ground with inset hand painted romantic scenes to the porcelain, ormolu monopodia supports either side of the clock face, an eight day duration movement that strikes on the hour and half hour. A pair of matching urn side pieces, again with romantic scenes and gilded ormolu mounts.
