Object Description
Circa 1860, exhibition quality, Victorian marquetry top circular breakfast table. The top with sectioned walnut veneers surrounding a central inlaid panel and further marquetry panels throughout. The ebonised foredge is over a deep frieze with string inlay, and a large block beneath with brass clasps secures the top. The tulip-shaped stem with carved collar, over 3 elegant cabriole legs with foliate carved knees and feet, C-scrolls and curled toes; all on the original metal and wood castors.
