Object Description
Circa 1880. A late Victorian oak open bookcase, surmounted by a simple
classical cornice and simple frieze, the upper bookcase has three sections,
each with four adjustable shelves flanked by fluted pilasters capped by
foliate carved corbels, the deeper base with a moulded edge to the top, has
three frieze drawers with cast brass handles, above open sections each with
a single shelf, all supported on an enclosed plinth
