Large Wedgwood Fairyland Lustre Octagonal Dana Bowl

Object Description

Wedgwood Fairyland lustre octagonal bowl decorated in Dana, ‘castle on a road’ design, on a mother of pearl ground to the exterior. The octagonal panels are framed with the cobble border. The ‘Boxing match’ design on a mother of pearl ground to the interior. ‘Portland Vase’ and ‘WEDGWOOD ENGLAND’ back stamp to the underside with pattern number ‘Z5125’.

Object Condition

Very good. No restoration. Almost nil rubbing to gilt. Two very minor gilt rubs to the rim. No scratches. Rings very well.
