Object Description
A superb late 18th century (circa 1790) ash cricket table or tavern table with shelf below of fine, faded patina.
This table consists of a solid nicely figured two plank ash top with fine, faded patina having the appearance of fruitwood.
The top is supported on a tri-form base consisting of a deep rail with three splayed tapering legs joined with a triangular shelf below.
This table is in very good condition for age with evidence of old shrinkage to shelf, is of stable construction and can go straight into a home.
