Object Description
A fine and most useful late late 18th Century Mahogany Draw Leaf Table to a Design by Thomas Sheraton in his “Cabinet Makers and Upholsterer’s Drawing Book” Third Edition 1802.
The top concealing two draw-leaves with a single central fitted drawer, with boxwood stringing and ebony inlay, retaining it’s original handles, lock, key and brass cap barrel castors.
The false side drawers allow for the raked arms supporting the leaves when drawn; finished all round with false drawers to one side.
Height: 28” Width: 36” Depths: 23.5” closed, 34.25” with one leaf and 45” with both leaves drawn.
