Object Description
Late 18th Century George 3rd “Sheraton” design rosewood and inlaid work table. This beautiful 18th century table has four square tapering legs with original brass castors. A single drawer to the front with a fitted end pull out internal drawer which is mahogany lined. The drawer has its original brass knobs and brass lock. Originally it would of had a writing surface in the top of the drawer that ran in slides which is now missing. The table has a pull out screen to the back and a pull out storage bag to the underneath which comes out from the side. The piece is beautifully inlaid throughout with boxwood and ebony stringing and kingwood cross banding. The table has been sympathetically re-finished but is a lovely colour.
