Object Description
A good quality late 19th/early 20th century Grand Tour style bronze of Bacchus (God of wine), after The Antique, with green patination of antiqued appearance and mounted on a rough cut marble base.
This figure is depicted holding a wine skin in his left hand and possibly missing a drinking vessel from his right hand.
This highly decorative bronze is in very good condition for age and is ready to go straight into a home
