A late 19th century Anglo Indian hardwood camel table of superb quality and good patina, possibly from the Gujarat region of India.
This table consists of an octagonal top, the central section surrounded by profusely carved foliate decoration with gadrooned edge leading down to a carved and shaped frieze.
The table top is fixed to the superbly carved camel body with carved saddle and rug on his back leading down to the camel base having a carved geometric design with gadrooned edge.
This table is in very good condition for age, is of stable construction and can go straight into a home.
