Object Description
Circa 1830, Late George IV rosewood sarcophagus shape tea caddy. It has a shaped top with various mouldings, and opens to reveal a pair of hinged containers either side of a circular aperture (originally for a mixing bowl). The inside of the lid is polished and it has a concave shaped body with lifting handles either side. There is a simple moulding to the base and it is on carved bun feet.
