Object Description
Circa 1820, late Regency carved gilt pier mirror. The top is breakfront above a concave section with gilded balls. In the frieze there are Classical figures dancing and a musician playing on the flute. To the left and right of the mirror there are 2 carved capitals with Corinthian tops, above a fluted section which tapers down the front of the mirror. The mirror itself with the original glass is bevelled edged. There is a rounded section at the base of the mirror and two squat bun white porcelain feet. The mirror retains its original colour and unusual patination.
