Object Description

Dating to circa 1890 this lovely quality late 19th Century occasional table / kettle / urn stand is constructed of solid mahogany in the George II style and of the Chippendale manner.
The serpentine top having a shaped gallery with carved flower heads above a rope carved frieze standing of four splayed cluster column legs united by an “X” frame stretcher of a similar style terminating on carved square feet.
This very attractive table has been restored using traditional wax polishing methods retaining its lovely colour and patina.
Offered in excellent condition a very useful and versatile table.
