Object Description
Circa 1900, Louis XV style French marquetry inlaid walnut games or side table. The rectangular folding top with outset corners covered in fine marquetry with urn and foliate decorations and peripheral tulipwood and boxwood inlay, all edges in cast ormolu mounts. Top opens to boxwood inlaid and gilt tooled baize lined interior in perfect condition. The frieze with matching quality marquetry and all supported on tapering turned ebonised legs with ormolu mounts and a shaped X stretcher over brown porcelain and brass castors.
