Object Description
This bright cut engraved oval George III silver nutmeg grater was made in Birmingham in 1801 by Samuel Pemberton and measures 1 3/8 inches in length by 7/8 inches wide and is 13/16 inches tall, it has a lovely engraved border to the lid and sides with the base having a pricked border, it also has the name H Collens in flowing script to the pull off lid while the base has a hinged bottom and it is fully hallmarked inside the lid, a very nice nutmeg grater in excellent condition.
