Object Description
This very nice William & Mary silver miniature porringer was made in London in 1691 by PH (Jacksons Pg 137) and measures 3 1/8 inches handle to handle by 2 inches in dia and is 1.25 inches tall – it has a spiral half flute design to the bottom half of the body and has reeded handles either side – it bears the pin prick initials of CY 1695 and is fully and clearly hallmarked to the side, it bears the engraved initials of MC under the base and is in very nice condition, a rare survivor of the age.
