Object Description
A fine Luristan dress pin cast from bronze. The pin features a stylised floral head, consisting of a central globular ovary, which rises to a short neck with a wide and slightly convex top, imitating the shape of a flower’s style and stigma. The head of the pin is further decorated with flattened granules placed between low-relief triangular elements, possibly imitating sepals. The pin is enriched with three trumpet-shaped projections evenly spaced under the head. The pin tapers to a plain lower narrow shank, terminating to a point.
