Object Description
A Luristan bronze finial in the squat form of the ‘master of animals’ type. The piece comprises of a central tube, modelled to resemble a four-headed anthropomorphic figure with feline legs and haunches. On either side, at the shoulder level, are flanking stylised leonine heads with open jaws.
Date: Circa 1200-800 BC
