Object Description
A Luristan bronze short-sword with the blade and hilt cast in one piece. Featuring a broad flat midrib, the blade tapers to a point with slightly convex edges. The flanged hilt, used to receive the wood or bone inlay, are relatively long in proportion to the blade. The hilt features a rectangular guard leading to a crescent-shaped pommel. Minor accretions and encrustation to the surface.
