Object Description
An ancient Greek, terracotta cup from the South Italian Apulian region, entirely covered in a rich, black glaze. The vessel sits upon a slightly flaring ring foot, from which the hemispherical container raises and opens to a wide mouth with a slightly everted, flattened rim. A D-shaped protruding handle has been attached on one side of the body, just beneath the rim.
