Object Description
Circa 1920, exhibition quality flame mahogany two door wardrobe by Whytock and Reid of Edinburgh, with Lorimer influences. The beading to the top is in the form of faux bamboo, with foliate carving to the centre, edges and sides. The doors are quarter veneered with matching flame mahogany panels, and side is a brass rail, and single shelf. It has a shaped apron with carving, and the gables are framed with double beading. Standing on classic Whytock and Reid/Lorimer feet.
