Majolica Bird Posy Vase, Titled, 'Wren'

Object Description

Majolica posy holder which features a wren perched on a branch. ‘WREN’ is impressed to the front of the base. Colouration: green, cobalt blue, brown, are predominant.

Object Condition

Generally good. Chip to tip of wrens tail. Tiny flakes to rim. KILN EFFECTS: craze lines to the interior of the spill, not present to exterior. RESTORATION. Retouched flake to rim at reverse of vase.
