Majolica Nautilus Shell Sauceboat

Object Description

Majolica sauceboat which features a nautilus shell supported by a coral and shell footed base. Colouration: turquoise, pink, green, are predominant.

Object Condition

Very good. No restoration. A couple of small flake to the footed base; glaze misses to the interior and exterior of the shell; a few glaze runs to the base; base slightly misshapen.
