Object Description
A 19th century continental rosewood marquetry inlaid sewing or work table.
The marquetry inlaid table top slides open to reveal the interior of many lidded compartments and storage spaces.
The underside has a rosewood work box that slides forward to store wools and material.
The table has twin spiral supports and scroll shaped legs with a cross stretcher that has an oval upholstered pad foot rest.
The table is in very good condition and has many cotton spools and equipment inside. (Circa 1860)
