Object Description
An 1890s Anglaise-styled French carriage clock with a strike repeat movement.
The polished and lacquered brass case has a large oval glass in the top, the top and base with a frieze of dentil cornicing.
The white enamel dial has Art Nouveau styled Arabic numerals set behind a silvered engine-turned dial mask.
Blued steel spade hands.
The eight-day gong-striking movement has a push-button repeat function. It has the original silvered lever platform escapement, visible through the oval glass on the top.
