An impressive pottery charger, of Attic style, in the style of Giustiniani, Naples. Measures 22 in (56 cm) across.
Early 20th century.
Decorated with Dionysus riding a cheetah, and Ariadne with torches in her hands, all exquisitely painted within an intricate Greek key border.
An impressive and very decorative object; may be but onto a stand or hung on a wall (it has a hanging fixture to the back).
