Object Description
Circa 1870. A large mid Victorian mahogany framed stool (ex. Rossie Priory, Perthshire). The large shaped stool covered in gold damask with piping cord on the fore edge and finished with gimp. With serpentine ends and sides, standing on four stout but elegant cabriole legs with carving and reeding on the knees, finishing with a well curled foot resting on brass and black porcelain castors.
