Medieval Silver Ring with Diamond-Shaped Bezel

Object Description

A Medieval silver ring featuring a diamond-shaped bezel. The ring features a round loop, of a thin and regular shape, enriched with finely engraved recurring diamond motifs. Within each diamond is a small incised dot. The applied, larger, diamond bezel is sooth and unadorned. To one side, is a floral motif further embellishing the piece.

Object Condition

Good condition. There was possibly another floral attachment on the other side of the bezel, which is now missing. Small surface scratches to the bezel consistent with age.
