A Victorian Mahogany Masonic Ballot Box with rectangular moulded top above a circular voting aperture flanked by brass Y & N mounts above a pair of knobbed moulded drawers.
A plaque on the back reads:

Begun in 1685, and formally established as “Toye and Company” in 1835, the company is known as “manufacturers of masonic insignia and regalia for all degrees in freemasonry.”
