Object Description

A Delightful Mid 19th Century Rosewood Centre Table Having
Superbly Figured Circular Tilt Top With Marquetry Inlaid Decoration
Raised On Faceted Bulbous Central Set Column Terminating On
Triform Base With Attractive Carved Scroll Feet

(A typical central standing occasional table of the period
which has enough presence to stand in the centre of a room
whilst also being relatively small enough to be used as just
an occasional table tucked away in a corner, or alongside a
settee/chair, this is constructed from well figured rosewood
which has retained a good colour. It also has a highly decorative
band of marquetry decoration around the edge. It is very sturdy and
very much fit for purpose and ready to be immediately used
within the home environment adding a touch of class and
elegance as well as function to wherever its eventual destination).
