Object Description
A mid 19th century camphor wood Campaign two drawer chest of superb patina (colour).
This chest consists of a figured camphor top with brass to each corner, leading down to two deep drawers to the front with original brass handles and diamond escutcheons, the interiors of the drawers having dividers with brass to each corner below.
The sides having carrying handles (not original) and the chest is supported on turned bun feet (not original).
This chest is in very good condition for age, is of stable construction and can go straight into a home – this is a very versatile piece due to the size and would make a super coffee table.
