Object Description
Circa. 1850. Mid Victorian mahogany free standing kneehole writing desk in perfect condition. The rectangular top with mahogany cross banding and a burgundy writing surface with embossed gilt tooling above 3 ash lined (indicating quality Scottish craftmanship) frieze drawers with Victorian brass locks and original turned wooden knobs. All supported on banks of three graduated drawers over plinth enclosed plinth bases with hidden castors.
