Minton Secessionist vase

Object Description

Minton Secessionist vase decorated with black and green tube lining on a pink and purple ground. Pink and purple interior. Printed ‘MINTONS LTD’, impressed ‘MINTONS’ and date cipher for 1903 to the underside.

Object Condition

Good. KILN EFFECTS: notable crazing; kiln grit caught in the glaze to the lower base edge; glaze run to the black glaze. Stabilised and retouched crack to rim.
