A Moira flower head brooch with blue, pink, green and white plique à jour enamel and diamonds, with a rub over set round brilliant-cut diamond in the centre of a shaded blue to white plique à jour enamel flower, with eight-cut diamonds pavé set in the petal edges, surrounded by pink to green plique à jour enamel leaves, with eight-cut diamonds set in the veins, onto a ribbed gold swirling ribbon, mounted in gold, with silver settings, with a pin and trombone safety catch, signed Moira.

Object Literature

Moira’s eponymous collection was inspired by clients searching for unusual jewellery that just couldn’t be sourced anywhere. Influenced by nature itself, Moira put together a collection representing the forms of flora and fauna, employing what are now rare traditional setting techniques, old-cut stones and enamel in its various styles. The plique à jour method resembles rich stained glass. These romantic pieces are set to become the heirlooms of the future.
