Painted in monochrome orange-yellow with scattered flowers and sprigs in the so-called “potato flower” pattern, flanked by lion-mask handles, iron-red X to the cover. For a similar example, see Moustiers Ceramics: Gifts from The Eugene V. and Clare E. Thaw Collection, Cooper Hewitt, Exhibition Catalogue, 2 August 2017–21 January 2019, fig. 14. The floral pattern takes its inspiration from textile designs. Stable hairline to the interior bowl.
