Object Description
Circa 1870. Neat sized Victorian mahogany campaign desk. The top with a burgundy gilt-tooled writing surface and with moulded edges above a long frieze drawer with inset brass military handles, supported with two pedestals each with three graduated drawers with further brass military handles. All drawers liners in mahogany (sign of quality) and brass locks stamped JDB London and 4 lever locks. And all supported on four neat bun feet on each pedestal.
